MSD Ignition Project

I started a thread previously on utilizing LS1 MSD ignition coils on RX-8.
After consulting MSD and a few others have went the way of MSD pn#6302 x2 and MSD pn# 8207 x4 as instructed by MSD tech who has done this before with great results .. Project will be completed at end of Feb /begining March.. If your interested or have info
follow progress or post .Thanks.

Yes . He has done it with the above combination with great success on a RX-8.. He gave me his email @ MSD
waiting on his wiring diagram..I in no way will claim the fame ..Dre @ MSD deserves that as he is the person
who put this arrangement together. I'm seeing a set up from I beleive esmeril racing wich uses (looks like)same
coils.. I wonder if their using the dual coil ignitors in the kit their about to release.. His arrangement (Dre) will cost
less than $350 plus install. All parts can be had through Jegs or Summit Racing.(they seem to have best prices and
good reputation in the performance part world). Also I will be making own plug wires from a universal kit (msd/accel).
most likely MSD though.

OK, you only stated he was a rotary expert previously, it will be good to have other options if it proves out

How's this project going I'm interested in doing the same thing, also do you know if adding the hks twin power ignition system to this would work or is it even worth it

I have heard people say that adding ignition boxes to certain systems does no good because the coils are so good and I've heard this on many cars over and over again through the years. I've also seen this to be untrue in nearly all of those cases so take that as you will.
