MS CAI installed DSC light staying on HELP

Recently bought and installed a mazdaspeed CAI and it sounds amazing, the only problem is that my DSC light on my rpm gauge is constantly staying on. When I turn the car on the DSC/OFF light flickers a few times and the that turns off but the light with the little car and the skid marks behind it stays on the whole time. Any ideas on what my have caused this?

Turn the car OFF, move the key to the "ON" position, turn the wheel clockwise fully, and then counter-clockwise fully, start the car

That should fix your problem, but If you already tried that, then it may be that the MAF was not hooked up properly. That's all I can think of.

Same thing happened to me when I installed my K&N Typhoon v.2 intake kit. The DSC light was blinking and the "slippery" light icon stayed on. This was because I had disconnected the battery during the install. So you might've done the same thing when you installed your MS CAI.

Just follow Bastage's instructions and you'll be fine. The steps he listed are also found in the car's manual, which is where I referenced the fix when the same thing happened to me.

Cheers.
