Just received a BNIB Borla catback this afternoon. They did everything they saud they would.

I couldnt exactly find where the actual problem was, but I have my suspicions. Either way its all good now.

I am having the same issue, the left tip is out farther than the right side. I have loosened all the connectors and tried to get them even but it's not seeming to work. Has anyone figured out where the issue might be? Everything else is stock piping and I replaced all the rubber hangars. Kind of perplexed atm.

pa8: David Borla posted his contact information earlier in the thread. I would start with emailing or calling him to see if he can be of assistance.
From our OP's experience, Borla seems to be ON TOP of this and taking exceptional care of their customers.

reach out to them and you should be in great hands.

Years ago I had a Flowmaster catback for my WRX that wouldn't fit, it was welded crooked. I'd bought it from Summit, and they paid $80 for me to have it rewelded by a local shop. Flowmaster also offered to help, but Summit was a little quicker to respond. I was very happy with both companies, and wanted to mention this incident and its positive outcome.

And thumbs up to Borla, too, that' s the way to take care of customer issues. All companies screw up, it's how they handle the screw ups that define the good from the bad.

My issue was with the removable passenger side tip. It wasnt set up in the jig correctly, and Im thinking whoever was welding it, noticed it. Due to the bead not actually going sll the way around the tip/pipe joint. Somehow it must have gotten tossed in with the good ones and got sent out.

Wonder if they cover even if i'm not the original owner? They used to be nicely aligned a while back, was installed about 20k miles ago, which was a while ago but anyone else having this problem? The tips beginning to touch the shroud? Yes they are touching and beginning to melt the shroud :(

The passenger side itself is adjustable. That can be fixed with one wrench.
