Nothing "voids" a warranty.

Neither will void your warranty unless the dealership could prove the problem you would be having with the car was directly related to that part. While your powertrain warranty *could* come into question, your suspension would still be covered.

Either are illegal due to EPA regulations. But some members have passed emissions with the Supercat.

will the midpipe (no cat or resonator) give same or better results power wise as the supercat? will you get a CEL?

Maybe a hp or 2 on an NA car, but nothing noticeable. It might very well throw a CEL (about 60% chance), whereas the hi-flow cat will not, and you will pass emissions.

If you have the Greddy, you do know that putting a midpipe on will make this ridiculously loud right ? At least with a hi-flow cat it acts as a natural resonator and cancels out some noise, but a straight midpipe and prepare for ears bleeding & cops pulling you over.

It will be very loud when you first put it on, but quiet down over time.

Midpipe vs. HF cat and gas mileage? Any thoughts? I searched but couldn't find anything...

I don't see any reason for it to change your fuel mileage. Mine hasn't changed since I put on a catless midpipe.
