midpipe with a/f gauge removal?

i have a midpipe with the AEM eUgo connected to it.. Im not sure how its connected but is it possible for me to remove it from the midpipe? i assume im going to have a hole which i could just plug with a bolt or am i wrong?

generally are the a/f gauges welded to the midpipe or what?

It's just threaded into a bung. Your gauge should have come w/ a plug. If not, most muffler places would probably just give you one.

you can remove the sensor and put a plug in the bung to block the hole.
