your probably going to get pounded with "use the search button". from what I have seen you will get a check engine light if you remove your cat... not sure on the warranty though, but I'm sure it would void it.

Good luck

1. why do you want a midpipe? What are the emission laws in your state governing the catalytic converter? You do know it's against Federal Emission Laws to remove the OEM catalytic converter, right?

2. you WILL get a Check engine light if you remove it.

3. As for voiding your warranty: look at the thread above but also see the last part of my first bullet point.

I don't think a high flow cat will throw you a CEL, but you won't get the HP you'd get from a midpipe, or the sound (Which might be what you want; I dunno). Midpipes make everything ******* LOUD unless you get a dual resonated. Sometimes they attract the wrong type of attention unless you go out of your way to find a quieter one. They're illegal, yes, so you would have to swap to your cat to pass emissions tests, etc.

the High flow cat shouldn't throw a CEL, I know I've never had one with my RP unit.
The HP difference between a midpipe and a car with a high flow cat is SO minnimal that I doubt most people would even notice.

Heck, the last 2 years I've done the SoCal dyno meet, no car WITH a midpipe (that was N/A) has gotten more hp then my car with a hi flow.
