Looking to get an exhaust somewhat soon and the Megan Racing exhaust caught my eye. It comes with everything besides the header which I like as well. Opinions on this exhaust in general or from those of you who actually have it?! Thanks.

 

Yeah it caught my eye (ear) to. I'm just wondering about the cat not allowing for the sensor and a cel going off. If it doesn't set one off I'm probably going to get it or Mazdaspeed.

 

its like the ap exhaust (which i have and its awesome) but the megan is 2.5" pipe while the agency power is 3". if i remember correctly the megan only has one resonator in it as well. i thought about the megan but went with ap. talk to adam at thmotorsports, hes great to deal with and awsome prices. i got mine on sale i think for like 640 shipped

 

i was actually just on THM about 20 mins ago and was looking at the AP, its $765 shipped according to the website

does the AP exhaust cause a CEL or does the bung it comes with for the factor O2 cause it to shut the CEL off?

 

The exhaust itself should not cause a cel, the midpipe most likely will if your getting that as well. Some people get lucky and they never get a cel but I think most do get one.

 

i owned the magan exhaust i was really satisfied with really felt the differ down low and sounded nice as well

 

just ran accross the megan exhaust, what are you supposed to do with the o2 sensor? just let it dangle or something?

 

the mazdaspeed exhaust by far sounds the best

 

all exhausts, aftermarket and stock, have to have a hole for the 02 sensor to plug into

letting it dangle is just sketchy and unneeded lol

 

yea I have an AP pipe but selling it now im broke lol but is really great yes!!!
