Again, you were lucky. Ask anyone with any real knowledge of dealing with body parts ESPECIALLY, why do you think there are so many members who waited MONTHS to get their parts in? Search a bit before you make statements like that... Apparently you are just new to the scene.

Redefine

you're missing the point........when you buy something, You buy something, you get it shipped OUT to you, I don't care if the shipping is 1 week, or 2 weeks, as long as it is shipped out

I bought alot of stuff from the east coast, and from ChrisM on this website, which takes about a week to arrive in CA, that is TOTALLY fine with me, along as it was shipped out. granted I did buy stuff from Mazsport before, and they shipped them in a timely manner. However, if people who already bought your stuff (paid for it) haven't gotten their items shipped out in 2-3 weeks, your business has a problem

on the other hand, if you say "pre-order" and "300$ deposit (roughly the cost to make the midpipe)" and use that money to build the midpipe (because it is obvious to me this business is not that high on Credits and LC) then when it is completed the customers can pay the rest and you ship it out on that very day......... this would stop fustration on both sides..........and would be much more ownage, as I said, your Marketing and planning suck *****

Thats how you judge peoples knowledge on things? Their forum life?

Thanks for proving me right, only a little brat would base peoples intelligence and experience based off of something that stupid. Let Scott's thread be, I'm sure he doesn't want to see this kind of **** in it anymore.

Ok, and since that was a direct attack to me you are now in violation of forum rules, I would thank you to keep your comments to yourself. I have alerted the mods that this is happening and asked for them to keep an eye on this thread and you.

If you want something different for me to base your "experience" on; your two days older then me. I'm young, and I am by no way grown up. I learn things every day and in no way try to call people out to tell them they are being a baby when you’re clearly the only person here defending your point of view. You should consider humbling yourself a bit and you might not come off as someone who thinks they know everything.

Anyways RedefineRX8, I don't think you understand much. Just go to the Mazsport website and look at the midpipe. Try to find anything in there that says, "Please allow 8-9 weeks for delivery". Heck, I woudn't even be on this thread if they'd posted that up. If Mazsport would have put that on their site, or at least contacted the buyers and told them of the delay instead of us having to contact them weeks after wondering where our products were.
I mean nothing against Mazsport, I know they're a great asset to the RX8 community, just that simple measures could have been used to prevent some of us to lose our trust in a very respected Company on this site.

I don't know everything, but I'm not a cry baby or a tattletale .

Scott should indeed take more responsibility and have someone give you guys more updates, but you are acting like you are the only ones going through with this and this is the first time. You HAD to have read all of the Mazsport threads. You know what to expect, EVERYONE waits. EVERYONE.

Also, in their defense with the amount of things they have going on down there in Florida just to help a handful of people (rotary community) all they do is catch **** from people. Yeah it sucks waiting that long for a part, especially when it's nice outside and you are itching to cruise with your new stuff. If you knew how many people worked there and the obstacles they are trying to overcome and the services they are providing with said staff you would be overly impressed that ANY of these products get developed, extensively tested, and even produced at all! They aren't doing this for charity, but at the same time they are not making a killing on this, they are doing it for the love of the cars. Try to see it from that perspective.

And btw, experience with cars is what I was talking about, not with being a forum *****.

As I've said before, noone is forcing you guys to buy their parts. You are acting like you all have guns pointed at your heads. If you are that pissed off and can't sit still any longer then cancel your order, it's your loss.

ugh, you make my head hurt.

When you give someone money for a product and that product can't be delivered in a timely manner and no warning was issued on delivery time delays, it is a very poor business practice. Defend it all you want, if it was, then everyone would do it and it would be common practice. But when people are saying "never waited this long for anything” that’s in a whole different category of wrong. I like to think I have been more then patient with them and that is solely based on their credit as a reputable company. Had it been anyone else I would have filed grievance and gotten my money back.

Look at it this way. I'm in the Bomb Squad, how well do you think it would go over if I were to get a call for an IED, tell them I'm on my way then go do a favor for a range and do a residue pick up and stay there for two months. Everyone is sitting there wondering where I am and I don’t have the courtesy to give them a call. I would be in jail.

Except in the bomb squad you have peoples lives at risk, in this scenario we are talking about car parts. Not a very good comparison.

I already said I agree that it sucks to wait this long. However whether right or wrong this has been the case for their parts and it has been documented throughout the forum. It's not like this information hasn't been hidden. That's all I'm getting at and I'll leave it there.

I'm leaving it alone too but just for your education, as long as a proper evac has been done, no one's life is at risk except the person working on it, and if I'm not there well, its just an inconvenience for everyone else.

Redefine, you seem to not understand.........anything..........

you keep saying Mazsport is helping the community etc etc, no, no and no

the day they start giving away ignition solutions and midpipes, offer free (now almost obsolete) INT-X's is the day I will say "Mazsport is helping out the Rx8 community". No Redefine, you do not understand the word help out. Mazsport is a Business, and They have always been a business. Their profit margin is pretty good and you can tell my the prices on most of their items

you're right, it has been documented on the forums, and alot of the forum members have already bitched and moaned about this, but how many other rx8 owners that are not on the forum realize this? and I bet these people don't like to wait 3-4 weeks for a product after they bought it either.

and too bad for mazsport those people don't have RedefineRx8 to tell them what patience is

If you can't see that this company is helping the community you are completely helpless. Just stop posting, someone who didn't even pay for his own car has no business criticizing businesses or blatantly insulting a company that the owner and the few employees he has have poured their blood and sweat into. Seriously, just shut up you are walking on eggshells right now kid.

Redefine, how old R you anyways............. it's not me who is helpless, it's you, what do you even do for a living, as for the Record, I payed for my car in cash and bought it myself. So what did you base that assumption off of? We clearly have pushed some buttons here. What are you Scott's lover or something? as I said, Scott is a good man, however, being a good man and a good business conductor are 2 different things, Scott should be more like a chief designer and technician, but his Marketing, and Planning is rediculous is all I'm saying. If Mazsport is truly Helping the RX8 community, then I need a new set of Coils, can you please send them to me ASAP? I'd be waiting for them in the mail.

Either you are actually working for mazsport (and basing on your posts, I'd say you are the retarded marketing manager). or you actually are the one that is helpless, because Mazsport IS A BUSINESS Scott can even attest to that, IT IS NOT A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION for RX-8 owners, if it did, it wouldn't have to pay sales tax!!! you clearly have gotten your mind set from some wierd falling on head hitting tree etc etc............I consider you hopeless

This thread is falling apart...
Its supposed to be about "Mazsport's beautiful two-resonator midpipe", not the pros/cons with Scott or MazSport (or anyone else from this forum).
If you guys want to continue this argument, then maybe someone should start a thread in the "Good Guy/Bad Guy" section!
Just a suggestion.....

There is already a thread about how good-bad mazsport shipping-handling is..So it would be better for this to stay clean so we can read only for the updates..

I had my turbo kit far far back and waited for it..I knew it but i still bought parts from mazsport cause these work but you have to damn wait...And i m with you that the marketing is very very bad..But they are new..Experience will help them through..
