Basically, it looks like this:
Reprogrammed ECU
Adjustment or modification to the VFAD
Sport Exhaust
New 7E sparkplugs (colder i believe for more ignition advance)
MS Flywheel
Grounding Kit
Strut Bar
Underside ridgity stabilization
Shocks and springs (ride height is lower)
the full body kit
Second Oil Cooler (which we already have here in the US)

rebalancing the eccentric shaft causes it to spin more evenly and thereby would allow the engine to rev up faster and smoother.

ehh... 300 of version 1.

They are still advertising it but I think they are all gone in Japan even before they are released

version 2 also has much more than version 1 did.
version 1, if i remember correctly, was the body kit, suspension, flywheel and brakes only.

they mean the MS Flywheel....

anyway, the sight seems to indicate the MS muffler has the catalyst built into it so you don't need a cat and therefore they can run hotter exhaust temps and more aggressive ECu maps??? Or is there something wrong with the translation??

they have a special 'high flow' cat that reduces back pressure to improve flow.

I guess that combined with reprogrammed ECU would give it more power?

So would it be technically logical to place Efini badges on the 8 now?

Exactly!

If I knew a MS version was coming within less than two years, I would definitely wait.

Is it a foregone conclusion that they will eventually release a MS RX-8 in the states?

It's too late for me to invest in any version of the MS RX-8. I already have an RX-8, and I plan to up one on Mazdaspeed.

The 05's will still have keyless entry, right?

I don't see the buttons on the fob!
