Looking for exhaust, any ideas??

I just purchased my brand spanking new velocity red '05 RX-8 this weekend (sticker was $29,000, i got it for $23,000, how lucky am i). I haven't even broken this bad boy in yet and the aftermarket bug is biting. Exhaust is an obvious first step. I just wanted some feed back on the different exhaust systems. I want the exhaust loud, but not too loud. And if it sounds like a honda I will shoot myself. Please let me know, post some sound clips and pics if possible. Thanks.

Whitey

search, there are plenty of threads loaded with pictures, sound clips, and testominials with people asking the same exact question... almost in verbatim.

yea i think 3 of the 5 threads below this one are about exhausts....i would go with turboxs as they have shown the most gains on a dyno and i have one and like it....idk how to post the thread link but read through the one a few down that says "turboxs is looking...." and another one that says "exhaust help". good luck

I have the Racing Beat and Im very pleased, not loud like a honda, but a deep rumble when you get on it.

Installed the Hymee this morning, love it to death, thought I wasn't going to. Freed the motor up alot , quicker revs, plus just sounds badass to me!

first thing you need to realize is that a lot of people on the board offer bad information ...

Ouch... I don't think so. We merely offer our opinions of what we think is better.

I have the GReddy SP2, and it sounds great. Nothing like a Honda
Probably the best price as well! Tips are good size and fill the opening perfectly.
