CA Looking for an exhaust...

Hey folks, I'm doing some last minute Christmas shopping for myself, and decided I needed an exhaust for my manual '04. What I'm interested in is something that gives it a little bit of a deep throaty sound, with a small amount of performance... Nothing too extreme or loud, I dont need a top shelf mod, and I don't want to sound like a ricer like all the little torn back Civics. If anyone has any ideas, let me know, I'd appreciate it. Merry Christmas.

I love the sound of my racing beat, but if it gives 1 hp in performance, it slows you down 1 hp with weight. On an Rx8, i'd buy an exhaust setup based entirely upon sound unless you are going into heavy modifications.

If you want performance you are going to have to get a single outlet or lose your cat. And the single pipes look funny IMO and are pretty loud. The dual exhausts are all just about sound.

I appreciate it Lord ET and while my exhaust is one of the lighter exhausts out there it may be too loud for the OP if he does not want a lot of volume. It does not sound ricey though IMO

TurboXS - $535 shipped 3" Pipe in case you want to go FI in the future, they include a free race pipe until the end of the year. Great price I found out it's currently the most bang for the buck. Link below of the sound before and after with race pipe, 2nd link is with the catalytic and no race pipe. And yes use the search button next time :P
