I don't think it is a matter of no one is interested, but of who can do without their car. And also, we've seen how long development has taken for this car. To me, it seems like a large undertaking with a lot of headaches to volunteer my car.
We just want the customer to cover the parts. I would say atleast $5,000 if not more. An interceptor X alone is $1600, a BB garrett turbo runs around $1400, its going to need a better fuel pump, clutch, injectors, a custom fmic, etc etc. It gets rather expensive quite fast if you consider an entire kit with a good ecu...
To be safe I would say we are going to need the car for a couple months.

Looking at the 8, do you think it's possible to do a V-mount between IC and Radiator like on the 7? I haven't seen anyone else that is building a kit talk about that option yet.
I am not aware of any " kit " that includes everything that I am talking about here, what kit includes a new clutch? What kit includes a bigger fuel pump, injectors etc? The term kit is used quite loosely; in the rx7 world a turbo kit can be a turbo, manifold and wastegate...
Doing things the right way costs a lot of money. We aren't going to cheap out on anything, most " kits " include a lot of cheap parts. For example we aren't going to use an SS braided rubber hose, only TFE hose...
If the engine blows up at its our fault, we will rebuild it. Its pretty hard to blow an engine on a R&D engine dyno however. We are by far not inexperience engine builders or tuners.
