Looking for a chassis to prototype a new turbo kit

I'm looking for an Rx8 owner who would be interested in turbocharging their car. Considerable downtime will be involved to do it right, and possible revisions to the system. Possible R&D engine dyno, flow bench, and other instrumentation could be involved. I'm talking about doing a kit the right way; 321 tubular manifold, multiple thermocoupler and pressure sensor datalogging etc. We've done over a 150 different inhouse custom setups, including fabicating intake and exhaust manifolds, complete engine overhauls, suspension tuning etc. We hold national records with Buddy Ingersoll since the 70s doing 9s second quater miles with a 2L turbo Pinto, ex-garrett turbo engineers working at the shop, etc etc. I'm willing to cut the owner a deal of a lifetime, a kit at near cost. The shop is located in Peoria AZ, contact info and address can be found in the signature link.

I just helped a local tune his Canzoomer ecu, and he spoke of turboing his car in the future, but unfortuneatly to do something right, even if labor and R&D is free, its still expensive. He can't afford it right now, and I know most people don't have several thousand laying around to throw at modifications to car they still owe money on, but I know of the thousands of owners there has got to be a few...

All PM's and emails have been replied to. I contacted Rxtuner about doing some coverage of the owners car and the kit. I'm also going to try and get intouch with some of the import turbo magazines and see if they want to do a photoshoot and some coverage. We put several cars in magazines before, shouldn't be too hard to do...

It appears a chassis is being shipped to the shop by the end of the month. If that falls through I will post.

I believe I saw you pass by this morning, driving as black 8 right?

I pm'd you.

I looked into having a 4 rotor crank made for me a while ago locally, $5,000 was the rough estimate...

Well just let me know when you want to stop by, and I'll keep an eye out for you.

We've never done a 4 rotor, but I can tell you it would be extremely expensive to do it right. A 3rotor is far cheaper, and 500hp is low boost on that engine...

Sorry to hear that no one has stepped up to help you out. If I were closer to you I would consider it.

Great, I just responded.

A lot of people have been asking if we have rotary experience...
