a little more noise - that is pretty much all you will notice . And the cel may or may not come depending on model .

So I knocked out the cats no cel yet and tried shooting flames and and smoke came out .. I don't think it's really a bad thing I was revving it pretty high. But overall I like the outcome

Why did you gut it? Was your cat clogged?

For the hell of it. Like I said I live in a non emissions county. The more I drive it the more I love it. It seems to add just a tad more umph. Enough to satisfy me. And its very easy to do. I haven't accomplished flames though that was one I was my goals.

Probably not a good move. I could understand gutting it if it was clogged. I would have just bought a race pipe. If you ever want to sell the car you may have an issue. Its going to cost you some cash if you ever need to buy a new cat. Could have bought a midpipe for as little as $100 used.

You gutted a $1500.00 cat when you could have bought a midpipe? I just sold my old SR catless pipe for $75.00. Hey it's your car but I'm not sure a gutted stock cat will get you flames.
