Budget wise ... Most i would spend is 1500 for the 2 items.. I was looking at the AEM cold air intake and the HKS Hi performance Exhaust but i wasnt sure becuz i dunno if its dual pipes ... And Im just looking for the cheap twink upgrades ... im not on the turbo lvl yet .... But willing to get ther some day ...

you're looking at 350+ for the intake, and exhaust is going to run you up the wall...I think you can find a catback for like 600ish on the cheap side.

you arent going to find anything that will give you any amount of noticeable "power"...full exhaust and intake might net you a supposed "30" HP (5-7 intake, 5-10 headers, 5-10 midpipe, 5-10 cat-back) but those are imaginary numbers squeezed out by the manufacturers. Actual gains are probably nonexistant IMO. You're seriously only looking at aesthetic differences.

if power is what you're after, save your money up towards FI. I changed the exhaust for a sound I preferred.

Borla, HKS, Greddy, Mazdaspeed, racingbeat, magnaflow, to name a few
Your best bet is to check some of the suppliers and get an idea of whats out there then hop onto youtube and find rx8 clips with those exhausts and listen to it.

I have the Rb intakes. Again u are gonna have to look into what sound you want.
Dont expect much "performance" increases from exhaust and intake, youll find some benefits but nothing too massive.

For the budget-conscious, buy mods used. A lot of people want to get their cars back to stock for trade-in and are willing to swap for stock parts + cash (usually about 1/2 retail). That way too, you could hear what the exhaust/intake sounds like before committing. It does take a bit of patience and luck though.

I've got AEM intake but i'd recommend either AEM or Racing Beat.

Exhaust i'm going full Racing Beat. That's my personal preference, i've got a lot of faith in the companies.

Oh, and YouTube video clips is a great way to hear them before you buy em.
