intakes, please help

hi guys, i am a new owner of RX8, and i just bought last month, and i love the car. it's still stock, adn i am just planning to upgrade the intakes. now, i have read a lot about intakes, but no body mention about "SRMOTORSPORTS". i hav et odecide now either REVI intakes or SRMOTORSPORTS. can you guys give me some inputs here, and if i change the intake. do you think it will void my warranty? please let me know.
thank you
steven

I don't know much about SR's intake, but the REVI seems to be the intake of choice. It is enclosed and therefore more quiet than others, as well as a good performer. However, if you plan on jumping into one of the Superchargers that should be out soon, don't waste your $$ on an intake now.

The Warranty issue is scetchy at best. Play it safe and say everything voids your warranty for the immediate and peripheral parts you are upgrading. If your dealer is good to you OR you feel you'll be somewhat successful at arguing that your upgraded parts didn't damage the parts you may want fixed under warranty in the future, than you should be more comfortable in making the upgrades. But unless your willing to sue them, (citing the Warranty vs. Upgrade laws you'll see quoted around the site), it comes down to what the dealer decides they want to do in each incident.

If you are only chosing between the two. I would say hands down the REVi as it It seems designed better for power. If you're only looking for more noise, go with the SR.

Revi is what I have in my car and it's a great product.
