Anyone heard of this? I found on ebay for sale and wanted to know if anyone has tried this pulley and if 3oz could possibly make any kind of difference in performance?

Stock alternator pulley = 5.5 oz
Mazdaspeed pulley = 2.5 oz

Honestly i don't think its worth it to buy 1 pully.......
I would save my money and buy the whole set, u get a better deal most of the time and u know your getting something good.

 

Does MS even sell a whole set?

 

Mazdaspeed Motorsports has an exclusive for a pulley set made by Speedsource. It is an alternator and crank pulley that eliminates the AC drive. I have a set. They are anodized black and the alternator pulley has MAZDASPEED machined on the face, so I don't think it's legit.

EDIT: In fact it's just an aluminum duplicate of the OE steel pulley, don't waste your money as the diameter is so small as to have negligible inertia. Further, they're in violation of trademark law. That is not a Mazdaspeed part.
