Smile Inlet Air/Fuel Injector Performance Kit

K&N is looking for a volunteer in the Southern California area to allow their designers to adapt a Fuel Injector Performance Kit. Basically this is a replacement for the factory airbox. The following is their letter to me. Since I am in Texas, I can't help. I would expect the volunteer will get the performance upgrade for free as well as a before and after dyno. Basis other upgrade dyno's that are on the K&N Website, I would expect a 2-4% hp increase. Please respond directly to K&N and keep the forum posted on progress.

From K&N:
Dear Customer,

We are currently looking for vehicles like yours to develop an FIPK Kit for your vehicle. If you live in the surrounding area (Southern California) and would be willing to allow us to use your vehicle, use this link to our web site. http://www.knfilters.com/vehicles/needuus.htm. Fill out the form at the bottom of the page and the R&D department will contact you when their ready for your model vehicle. If you do not live near Southern California here is a link to product request page. www.knfilterchargers.com/products_needed/ Please take a minute and fill out the form and you will be notified via E-mail when a Performance Kit is released for your vehicle

Thanks for writing,
