Nobody is gonna doubt that it'll do it.. The RX8 runs incredibly rich. Putting the test pipe on there is gonna just make it easier for those flames to make it out of the exhaust.. If you drive the car around STOCK at 6K+ for about 10 minutes, then go find a parking lot, put it in neutral and mash the throttle you can sometimes shoot flames.. and that's stock..

yea, lol.. you have no cat to trap the rich exhaust gas, so i bet you can do it EASY

With the HKS catback, I can occassionally shoot flames as well.......... not consistently though.

Sounds like I need to dump the cat or something.

I have the same setup its not that loud, its got a nice sound to it but no its not really too loud at all.

even with a quiet exhaust like the JIC its really that loud?? Hmm, also what flash are you on?

I can understand you being excited and all, but its not big deal. all 8s shoot flames even with stock cat AND exhaust. with an aftermarket cat back its much easier, with your setup every gear change goes boom I'd llove to see the vid though
Oh the other day I was behind a friend's rx8 with greddy catback and stock cat and at WOT it was shooting flames in every gear change

hell, even a stock FC will shoot flames like there's no tomorrow, that doesn't make it not cool still
