When you look at the pictures of the RB & Hymee exhaust, you have to ask when weighing the unit is RB also including the intermediate pipe. I ask this because the Hymee unit does not replace the stock intermediate pipe. This may also be where the cost difference comes in.

well the Hymee is a Cat back ! .. the Hymee and RB. Greddy sp2 are all just about the same.. Except in Sound. The Hymee will always be more mellow than the RB and the SP2.. but again its a matter of taste.. The Hymee is not as Harsh as the RB.. and the SP2 is some where in the middle,. HP gain for all of them will be about 3- 5 hp.. IF you remove the Cat then yes they will all be louder. ..

I think that RB is supplying the rear pipe as a work around for the Major Criping job MAzda did at the factory. Hymee wants your car to be as Stock as possible.. so yes its harder to get your Stock Muffler seprated for the rear pipe but you do maintian all that so you can switch back to OEM if you want. But again.. its really no big deal.. I got my stock muffler off and paid a mufler shop 35 bucks to take the pipe off the muffler.. Then went back home and installed it all.. took less than 1 hour.. No welding needed.. Now if you go to a muffler shop .. they may try to weld it.. its not needed but up to you..

Damn, i really can not make up my mind on what exhaust i want. I'm really leading towards the Hymee, but from the sound clips it sounds louder than the RB, and sounds about the same as Greddy. Is the Hymee alittle quieter than the Greddy? Decisions, Decisions...

The Hymee has a rich mellow note and is only loud when you WANT to be loud =) I have heard the Greddy and Hymee and I think i would still go with the Hymee..... I like the Hymee tips more than the Greddy also....

Hymee exhaust in itself sounds great using the stock cat/midpipe. If you go to a straight midpipe or even a high flow cat, the volume increases dramatically. Some may find it tolerable, I didn't and opted to put in a resonator aft of my high flow cat. This reduced the volume with only minimal restriction in the flow achieved with the high flow cat.
