I just found the Hymee enhanced exhaust on mazdaparts.com and Ive heard that the TurboXS exhaust is made "down under" as well, are these the same things or two completely seperate companies?

 

The Hymee is completely different from the Turbo XS. Turbo XS is based out of Maryland as far as I know.

 

hymee sounds great and fits perfect. turbo xs, is crazy loud and fits like crap..

thanks everybody....Ive heard that the TurboXS exhaust is the only true 3in. exhaust for the rx8? is this true, ive done some research and this seems like what ive heard could be true, the turboxs, agency power and racing beat exhaust are all 3 in. but some of the bends of the other two exhausts do not keep the straight 3 in. bends.

turbo xs has its R&D and manufacturing HQ in aussieland. their stateside sales/support is in gaithersburg, maryland.

 

the stock is about 2.75 " and that is the back pipe that attaches to the hymee exhaust..

the borla is real close to a 3" back pipe.

on a na car.. it really does not matter.

the turbo xs made its power from the straight pipe that replaced the cat, and the numbers are very suspect..

so is the stock RX exhaust 2.75" or 2.5"?
