How much is too much?

I'm a newer RX owner, so forgive the lack of prior knowledge, but I've been searching high and low, and I have yet to find a streight answer. thus, I've been drivin to asking here. How much power is a stock clutch rated to? I'm going to boost, EMS, and a few others so is a racier clutch a good idea or is stock okay for it? thanks guys

Racing Beat did their tests on the stock unit & said it was good for about 275-285 hp. If you plan to do anything in the FI area, will probably be better off getting an aftermarket unit. I have Centerforce, & I like it a lot.

Talk to Charles R. Hill. He owns Black Halo Racing and is a forum vendor. He will hook you up for sure on what you need and answer any questions about clutches.
