There are plenty of tutorials in the DIY section on removing the front bumper. I followed one when I put on my Racing Beat oil cooler/radiator screens. It's really pretty simple, especially for us mechanics (fixed TOW misslie turrets for the Army for a few years myself).

I have the K & N typhoon, I actually went with it simply because the dealership I used to work for had an account with kragens who was a K & N dealer. I got mine for $200 shipped. I just like it for looks and sound; at time I think it decreases power

Definitly AEM. Looks great, sounds good, and it has a better chance of gaining horsepower than the HKS. The HKS just sits in your hot engine bay and collects slighty more hot air than your stock intake. Plus a lot of those short ram intakes move the MAF sensor really close to the air filter (another chance of decreasing power).

AEM $315 shipped

And yes I would go with AEM over HKS on the intake.

you can always jump on my HKS intake for sale..barely used and much cheaper than youll find either new.

I dont know about the HKS sucking in a lot of heat..that heat box fits tight to the bottom tray and the whole setup is pretty sealed. Ive felt it after driving for awhile and it always felt pretty cool. Could have to do with my RB duct though too.
