HKS twin power ignition.

I have read some threads about this product, but I can't seem to come to an conclusion.
After I installed my unit, there is a slight burning smell when I am near redline. At first I thought it was just because I haven't redline the car often enough; but it's been a few days and the smell is still here when I floor the gas.

Anyone experiencing the same thing? is it just normal because of the bigger spark?

any input would help. Thanks

No idea but am wondering if you are still using the oem coils and how many miles are on your spark plugs. Not to put down the HKS twin power is a good product but doesnt fix the weak link in the ignition system, the ignition coils.

What does it smell like? could be some oil buring off the engine after an oil change or leak.

oil lever is fine.
It's more like rubber burning..but I checked the wires and they are not touching anything.
Again, it's not a really strong smell tho, it's just there.
I think my exhaust gasket is leaking some..might be the reason?

had the hks twin power amp for over 2.5 years now and even using it with my yukon coil setup with problem. I dont think the smell is coming from the amp... try checking the engine bay for any rubber hose touching the engine housing or something.
