Does anybody have the HKS Racing Suction...I plan on getting one installed sometime in the near future and just wanted to know what to expect as far as perforemance, Im hoping I can get at least 5 Hp out of it...I already heard some sound clips and its sounds mean, so I just wanted to know how you guys that have the intake installed like it and if you have any problems with it.

 

5hp sounds reasonable...

5 hp from any air intake is not really realistic here. Most have been shown to provide 2-3 hp. In talking with one of the posters here who had the HKS RS kit & HKS exhaust, those 2 together were giving him 5-7 hp.

 

i've had it since the first day it came out...so far no problems! No idling issues, or bogging. This is a very high quality intake kit. Here's a link to my thread. Further into the thread there is a video and a dyno sheet.

Well now that he posted here..I saw the HKS RS kit on Xdeedubbx & FE3P's cars. It is a top quality unit. Typical HKS product, but that is a good thing. Pay a lot, get a lot. I don't have a problem with that.
