honestly, i think the only thing you'd notice would be the sound is louder, which in turn, is making you think you're slower. lol

Yes, but it's really not that necessary. I recently put my HKS single on with a high flow cat as well. Yes it's loud, but it's not a bad loud and it doesn't bother me. It's a good deep sound and at low throttle and normal cruising it's incredibly tolerable. It gets pretty loud at redline, though, but it's not horrible.

scsi already has the rp supercat, so i assume that's why he wants a resonator installed.

Well then my post is still relevant, it's not that bad

I had the rx8store dual can catback before with a resonated/catless midpipe. It was actually louder in the lower/cruising rpm's than the HKS single + supercat. In the high rpm's its about the same, but the HKS is deeper and sounds better in my opinion.

what i meant by will it fit is on the car is there enough space where the connecting pipe is to also accommodate a resonator or small muffler?

do you plan to take some vids or sound clips? ive seen a few on youtube and it seemed too loud for me.

I believe there is space, but it'd have to be a fairly skinny/short resonator.

Yah I'm going to make a video eventually, just need to get access to a camera with video capabilities.

Pretty sure he's talking about once it's mounted ON the car, is there space between it and the bottom of the car and around the pipe to put in a resonator or small muffler. It all changes once the pipe is actually bolted on the car, it's tight in some places but I think it can be done if the resonator is short/skinny.

exactly what im wondering. perhaps a small muffler might work too, like one that teamrx8 used on his custom exhaust

notice the 2 in line mufflers here

Something around that size should fit fine.
