HKS Exhaust Question
I just had my HKS Exhaust installed and it sounds good, and looked good at first. However after a few days the exhaust tips are changing to a gold color which I I don't like at all and I think looks very bad. Does anyone know a way to prevent this from happening?

they tend to have a goldish hue. I have about 3000 miles on the exhaust and they aren't extremely gold. I've seen worse! The racing beat exhaust turns bronze, literally! Anyway, try using a metal polisher.

Just an FYI, it appears that most exhausts for the RX-8 have tips that change color. Greddy and Tanabe do as well, in addition to HKS and RB. The only ones that don't appear to change color at all that we've seen is Borla. Not sure why, but we've had a Borla on our car for 8k miles including at least 200 track miles and they're still bright silver.
