I just had a feeling that they are not interested in a Group Sale.

Maybe its just that they do not wish to reduce their profits as they may think that theres not much competitor in the Market the sells the same products at their current price.

 

Yeah, I didn't have much luck with the email route either.

I called and Chris was in a meeting. I was told they were playing catch-up from the extended vacation. No surprise there. Hopefully Monday I will have the goods. I just do not know. I am still trying though.

Brotha... I hope tomorrow I can give you an answer. I was enlisted into this GB. I do not mind that at all. I made the initial contact and the follow-up was positive and a go. Chris had to run all the details by the "Team" and come up with the deal. Now we are waiting on the "Deal" part of it.
PLease don't beat me up on this guys. I was asked to manage it and I did for you all. I do not want a cat as my CorkSport Exhaust is just loud enough for me and I am not ready to open it up as I have "other" engine plans in store. Besides... Momma will kill me if I spend too much more cash before the RX-8 BOTD meet/event in September. We are all at the mercy of RP right now. I have no problem if you want to contact them and buy retail. It seems they have no problem getting the retail orders out. Patience will save you a few bucks... how many duckies you will save??? That I do not know. You will know the moment I do... and that I CAN guarantee!

I've heard several 8s with mid-pipes and personaly their just to loud for everyday use. If that's what your shooting for then so be it but beware they're very loud when combined with a aftermarket cat-back.

 

Can someone tell them to check their email? This doesn't feel right when changes to orders need to be made and they don't respond.

That's my midpipe in the picture.... It's honestly not that loud.... If you are not constantly at high acceleration, its not too bad...

I'm utilizing it with a HKS Legamax - one of the more silent exhaust systems

 

OK... I have updated the list with the names of those that showed interest.
Here are the facts as of now.
-I have sent a few emails and I called RP/Chris 3 times last week. Left messages for varying reason that he was not available to take my call. [DIATRIBE] -"For the record - I announce myself every time I called." I always do this as it is respectful and sometimes it gets you through the screeners and sometimes it is an automatic blocked call, but at least they have the choice rather than being caught off guard. After several calls and no response to my several emails (As well as what you all are saying about email responses), I am beginning to think that this GB may fall apart real soon. They may be very busy out there or they may not wish to participate in the GB. The email I sent out yesterday gives them the chance to honorably opt-out of the offer. I know this may **** some of you off whom have been waiting patiently for just over a month now, but I do not want to look like an *** by telling everyone to be patient when my communication lines have apparently been severed too. Frankly, I do not know what is going on with RP at this point.[/DIATRIBE]
-I will give it one more week and then I am over spending my time and potentially damaging my reputation as the "GB KING"
-If any of you Texicans near RP wish to swing by the shop and drop "Hey What gives with the GB?" I would welcome that.
-The towel is not in yet... I will make a few more calls next week to try and seal the deal.

Just leaves me wondering about the integrity of RP

I think it's a lot more complicated than that - isn't it always?
