Is the GB for the cat itself, or does it also come with the midpipe?

It's for RP's Supercat midpipe and the bold & gasket kit.

The RX-8, 3 inch, Stainless Steel, Super-Cat replacement pipe is the answer at the door for more power without sacrifice. This pipe replaces the factory cat-pipe perfectly and is a true bolt in. Like the race pipe, you get a noticeable improvement in power, and a throaty exhaust note. The Super Cat-pipe is a completely new Catalytic converter design that allows extremely high flow and still works with the factory OBD2 system (no O2 sensor simulator needed!!). It has been tested several times and can pass a smog test with flying colors.

Contact has been made.
Waiting for a Quantity discount breakdown.
The GB will be for the entire Package listed below.
These are the RETAIL PRICES... not the GB Prices:
RP ‘Supercat’ Mid Pipe
RETAIL Price: $395.00
&
RP Mid Pipe Bolt & Gasket Kit
RETAIL Price: $30.00

Maybe now would be a good time to start a commitment list. As soon as we have the official price points you can either re-add or remove your name from the list.
You Texicans WILL be able to pick-up your discounted SupCat and save on shipping but tax is your burden.
The prices will be minus shipping... the cats are a little large and shipping will vary form location to location. What I can say is that RP's shipping is not trumped up.. it is what the shipper charges and therefore; fare.
I still need to make sure Paul and/or Ryan are cool with this GB, but for now lets see how many we can buy.

How loud do you think this would be with the MS CAI, and the MS Dual Exhaust?

I know I won't pass Cali emissions.

Pretty sure im in too. Got some questions though. Would this and a borla exhaust be a good combo? And anyone got any idea of how much it would be to have a shop install it?

With a Borla I would suspect that it would be Throaty (Nice) A bit louder too (Needed). I run the CorkSport PowerSeries Exhaust. I really want the RP SupCat, but VA is all **** about noise and I run without the required front tag so I cannot risk it. if the stop me for noise, speeding and no tag it will take money from the next MOD!
Most Muff shops charge around $40-$75 to install pipes. Dun know about CA though?

doubt that you will notice a sound difference with this cat... my corksport that is gone now sounded the same with the stock cat, a resonated midpipe (borla resonator) and the hiflow cat w resonator i have right now..

food for thought... sorry that cost you money..

Really Scott?
A friend up here has the Greddy SP2 with a non-resonated mid and the thing sounds likes Pettit’s Race 8!
Real loud and raspy... I had just thought that the RP Cat would allow more resonation with it having more open flow & recalled others sayin it was a bit louder too... I've been known to be wrong before though!!!
Damn you Scott... Now I have to figure out how I am gonna sneak this MOD past the wives radar! Maybe I can sell my Camel Zippo collection on Ebay! Build up that PayPal account. LOL!!!

Yes we would be, accept I have not gotten an OK from the Authorities that be.
The Club has rules about GB's. It must be given the Green Light before anything goes official. This site sells advertisement to help pay expenses... GB's needs to be OKed as I am not an Officer of either the Site or the Vendor we are attempting to have the GB's with.
Though everyone knows I do these for my fellow 8 owners and look to gain nothing personally for myself... I still can only work within the guidelines that are set-up.
Believe me.. I wish I had the Authority to find good deals for my 8 pals and then just offer em up left and right. Maybe somewhere down the road this will happen as you can see the GB threads are pathetic given the amount of members and possibilities we have here.
Paul/Omicron has not gotten back to me yet.. Maybe he is on Holiday... I will try to message Ryan S now I guess...

OK,, while we are all putting this "mod" on our 8's , I want you all to start the car with
the factory Cat/pipe off and hit 9000 RPM. Then and only then can you appreciate the Rotary engine and its power potential.
For those who have not heard this most incredible sound your in for a surprise.

***Do not try this in your garage or near flammable material***

***can you say FLAMETHROWER***
