If that thing does work, I'll be cutting up a midpipe.

Hey swoope I am sure you thought about this, but when I was under my car I thought about something.... don't go back too far. I am not sure you want that cat sitting right next to the gas tank either.

Has anyone checked with random technologies about their metal matrix racing cats?

I believe canzoomer and SR used them in their midpipes without success - but I though both of them were using the ceramic cats instead of metal...

I munched mine pretty quick. It was nice the way the element broke loose and then welded itself to the back of the chamber effectively blocking almost all of the flow.

moving it too far will cause other problems, within a reasonable range won't make much difference temp wise

I recently posted the info on my cocktail shaker (what swoope calls it )

https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-aftermarket-performance-modifications-23/team-rx8s-catalytic-info-139860/

I know where you can buy plug & play O2 sensor harness extensions

For reference I did talk with Random Tech and they don't want to touch our cars with any of their products with a 10 1/2 foot pole... they don't like how rich and hot our cars run at all

At least they are saying that now. When I talked with them a couple years ago they swore up and down their cat would last and last and last in our car. Didn't take me long to turn it into a useless heap.

If you get your custom unit back from our buddy before I get my order - you owe me a shot of Ultimate when I'm down there - whenever that will be that is...
