But in brief: The GTech Pro is a 3 axis accelerometer that lets you approximate performance measurements based on relative movement of the car in X, Y, or Z planes and calculations based on weight. You can read all about it here.
The Greddy eManage is a device that plugs in (or "piggybacks") on your car's engine control computer (aka "ECU or PCM") and allows you to control some parameters, like air/fuel ratio and ignition advance. On the RX-8, the eManage is usually called a "CanZoomer" or "CanZoomer Stage 1.X" mod, because they adapted the special plugs to make it plug right into the RX-8's, and designed some custom a/f and ignition settings to give the '8 more power.

Isnt the Greddy E-Manage different from the Canzoomer unit? Why do you refer to the E-Mnagage as the Canzoomer unit?

Ohhh.. so really e-manage is an industry wide term.... so greddy has their emanage and canzoomer has his... correct?
Which do you think is better for tuning? Or are they all the same in the end.

No, the Canzoomer Stage 1 is a Greddy eManage board that has been repackaged in a generic aluminum box. It is also pre-wired and programed so that you can just plug it into the factory wiring harness. Maurice has just gone out of his way to try to make tuning our cars "plug and play". If you want to save a few bucks you can buy an eManage instead. Then you will have to spend the time to figure out the wiring and create your own fuel maps. For me, it made more sense to buy the Canzoomer so that I wouldn't have to waste my time with the wiring and base fuel maps.

I have been a member on this forum for a long time and have read through countless threads just as a lot of other members..
I dont ever remember reading that canzoomer took an emanage for his own use... Wow.. I guess there are threads that I even skipped over....
