GT-3 kit

S R motorsports has this Gt-3 kit. it includes: Cold air intake, pulleys, and a highflow cat.

The Gt-3's dyno looks weird... 199 hp? im confused on that, did they use a AT rx-8 for their project car?

ALSO i noticed a GT-4 kit to come w/: ECU Upgrade

Cold Air Intake System ,

Underdrive Power Pulleys

Stainless High Flow Midpipe With Silencer

Stainless Steel Cat-Back System

Any opinions here? not liken' the cat-back part on the GT-4 since i love my Borla... its weird to me that CZ's stage 1 puts out more than this for less than half the price (i think, its just how i see it).

Check it out at SR's website... SRmotorsports.com

these parts seam a lil shadey for the price... Any1 else think so?

That's probably 199 horsepower to the rear wheels. Which is different then at the crank, the supposed 238 figure?

The auto is 197 but that is not what you get at the wheels.

I've seen a dyno sheet for an RX8 with a Rick Shaw Computer, no cat, stock exhaust, and RE Intake make 197HP to the rear wheels.

The pull was made in Miami (sea level) in 4th Gear.

...and it wasn't using the Rick Shaw map

I was impressed

The old question - Even if this kit is good and the numbers legit, you wouldn't really gain much ('cept maybe the CAI) on an Auto RX-8, right?

I was just on their web sight and they have close to a 40 whp increase for the project car using the G4 kit, pretty impressive!
