Alright, first and formost I want to apologize for putting up this post. I am purchasing an rx8 within the next couple of dates and need to know more about the Bolt-on Greddy Turbo kit that has been installed. I am sure there are tons of threads out there that talk about this mod. however, I do not have the time to search for them. I just wanted to know:

1. What is the change in the gas mileage average after adding the turbo kit?
2. How reliable will the car be for everyday driving?
3. Are all warranties voided with this addition, or just engine defect warranties?
4. Honestly, I just want to learn whatever I can from what other people have experienced having the greddy turbo installed.

Any help or comments are welcome and would be greatly appreciated, Thanks guys....

PPL may not help cause you have not tried to search first. I don't have the kit so I can't help but I do know all your questions have been answered atleast 50 times.

1. About 1-2 mpg, nothing substantial. My car went from about 200 miles per tank to about 185 miles per tank.

2. It wasn't for me. Too many crappy parts in the kit. Like every other kit it needs tuning out of the box, but also you should probably replace the hoses & couplings as they are junk, and probably use a different fuel management unit, as the EManage Ultimate is mediocre at best. In my package they were missing one of the pipes for the kit & Greddy is just absolutely garbage to deal with.

3. No it just brands your engine & voids the warranty on your engine & everything else associated with that if you run into any issues. For example if your wheel falls off, it wouoldn't have any affect on that.

4. IMO, if I had to do it all over again I would have either saved up more money for the Mazsports kit, get the Petitt Racing Supercharger kit or for ease of instllation & use gotten the Zex nitrous kit. I did not like & never will like Greddy after the experience I have had with them.

Wow, you guys are quick on the response. Thanks for the information, I figured that there would be some tuning, as there most always is when adding mods. I will definitely look into getting new hoses and clamps, what would you recommend buying as replacements? Also I found a page where someone had written a review about this kit....does anyone have any disagreements with the things this guy says??? http://rotaryinsider.com/rx8-9.html
