Fitted New CZ Mid-P-4 (Random Cat + Resonator) + Magnaflow tips

I fitted my CZ Mid-P-4 (Random Cat + Resonator) + some Magnaflow tips, and here are the pics.
No problems fitting the exhaust, but we did strip the theads on the O2 sensor getting it out of the old Cat (as it was cross-threaded) and I needed to purchase a new one.
The exhaust has a cleaner sound with a slight rumble at idle, but is no louder than stock. Not at-all.
When it revs, it's much nicer, and you can get it to pop after giving it some.
As for extra power. I think it has a little; but I am always pesimistic about this stuff. I have noticed that I am driving predominantly in lower gears now as the car is more fun. :D
Personally, I think it could do with being a little bit louder.
Still, I think my 4" magnaflow tips look pretty good. As good as a lot of the catbacks out there (I think). :p
I went the tips route, because I think there is nothing wrong with the stock catback system, and I didn't want my car to be too loud with the CZ Cat + midpipe. But with the new CZ one (bigger resonator) I'm sure it wont be a problem because IMO they have solved the "too much noise" issue. :p

I don't have the facilities to do this at present, but I'll ask a few people I know who should.
Keep your fingers crossed...

How is overall performance on your setup tokenbrit? Are you going to put it on a dyno soon?

BTW, love the use of the smilies.

This is a direction I have seriously considered as well.

Please make sure to keep us posted on your thoughts & what you find, both good & bad, if any.

Iwould rather pay $80 for tips than $600 for a cat-back with no (or negligible) power gain. :p

It's very nice. A lot more fun , and a little more agressive sounding . No plans to Dyno it just yet tho.
I want to do something to the intake before doing that. :D

BTW, I've also had the MS lightened flywheel done. So when I dyno I would like to think the results will be interesting...

Update. The exhaust/cat must have burnt off the protective coating now. It's still no louder than stock at idle, but it's more revvey and crisper sounding. Very nice. :D
It give me looks when I want it to, but not when I don't. Exactly what I wanted... :D
