Not to be a d?#k but people need to run a search before asking a question. I am on here pretty much everyday and see the same questions getting asked over and over. People run a search before asking a question. Chances are people have already asked the same question and received some great answers. Heyarnold69 fuzzy dice are a great start. I overlooked this mod when doing my own car. I opted for the disco ball. Hell yeah!

You're not going to get many answers because people have gone from seeing identical threads like this each day, each week, each month.

I could give you an answer, but I won't. I could flame you but I'm tired of beating a dead horse.

In fact I'm going to do what most have at this time, stop even looking at these threads anymore.

Op: Search, that is all.

My first was tein s tech springs and koni yellow sport shocks. No regrets. But start reading on here, and don't stop til your head hurts and your eyes can't focus.

start small, have fun with your car and know that there is not a ton of HP to be squeezed out of the car with bolt on mods.

My first mods:
clear corners
MS wing
fender strakes
front splash guards
I had all of these in my garage before my RX-8 even arrived from Japan.

One mod that is highly overlooked are the Racing Beat oil cooler and AC condenser screens.

Premix is a good start. I personally use Idemitsu, 4oz. per tank. Make sure to pour the stuff in BEFORE you start refueling. Get a few of the 4oz. bottles from Specialty Bottles. Makes the job much easier and cleaner.

http://www.specialtybottle.com/index...n=Custom&ID=54

I have a few of the ABUL3 for my use.

Keep up on general maintenance. Check fluid levels regularly (engine oil and coolant).

Another great first is the BHR Ignition System. There has been much praise for this system. I just received mine and am impressed. I am looking forward to installing it later this month.

Keep the car stock for now as you get to know it. A decent set of tires will do wonders.

I completely forgot about this. It's so highly overlooked that I forgot I have them installed on my car. Very much worth it.

Bridgestone Potenza are great tires. Come on they sponsor F1. Our 8s arn't coming from the factory with a cheap set of Firestone tires.

Same here; my first were AC condenser screen, strakes and clear corners.

An AFE short shifter is another that you might consider soon after purchase. It really does provide a "bolt action rifle" feel to shifting.

The rest can wait awhile and as Jedi54 cites there's not much more power to be gained from a stock NA (other than a custom tune), so more ear of the beholder.

Bridgestone Potenzas are good tires, I wouldn't call them great. I've used the Potenzas, Kumho MX's and Toyo T1R's (2 sets) and can tell you the Potenzas rank at the bottom of that list for me.
I'm not saying they're bad tires, they're not but there are better options out there if people want to consider changing.
