Question finding the right exhaust.. (help!)

so i'm looking into getting an exhaust for my rx8. i want something deep but not too loud. i really like agency power but i feel as if it's a bit too loud. i like how it sounds though. and THM Motorsports isn't a far drive either. but just wanted some insight from the rx8 community. mazdaspeed is alright, but i feel like it's a bit soft. borla from videos doesnt sound as deep as AP. basically something that sounds similiar to to agency power but not as loud. i'm really considering AP, but the loudness worries me slightly. but the look of it (being ti-tipped) and all does make it nice in appearance and in sound. so any feedback i guess would be greatly appreciated!

MagnaFlow is what you're looking for IMO. I'm partial, but was looking for the exact sound. Your Intake makes a huge difference as well. When I put my stock intake back on, my exhaust went real quiet. I took off the restrictor plate on the stock box though and gave the perfect sound.

this is a topic that varies on the person. not everyone looks for the same sound. which is.why search didnt fully help.

exactly why I thought i'd ask. AP exhaust sounds 10x better in person. sounds completely different in videos.

you guys got a bit salty over the years....
most threads are an open thread. any exhaust that sounds good. i went into more detail, saying what particular sound. deep but not too loud...
maybe someone would have posted an old set up they had. custom exhaust or something because they couldnt decide either.

Exactly. I have had a few, I have still not found the right combo so I have resorted to modifying them

alright thanks. borla didnt seem deep sounding enough in some videos. and having heard AP in person. and driving around in an 8 with the AP exhaust. it's loud but it sounds real good. and the ti tips are a plus too. magnaflow did seem nice from videos. might end up going with agency power.

Exoticspeed!!!!

i just got one and its just amazing. went from a mazdaspeed to exoticspeed and the jump was amazing. the sound is so much more aggressive especially with the headers and midpipe to match.
