Looks like I'll have to get the pod gauges for yours!!

Those "remapped" ECU's look good. I just want the hardware/software to re-map them.

Cheers,
Hymee.

the ecu is for the j-spec rx8s... would be pretty useless for rx8s at the states, unless its tuneable..

It is not a piggyback, it is a replacement PCM. It would only be useless if you couldn't use the "same" fuel, and it wouldn't pass your emmissions. Would it work? Yes. They need to ensure the PCM will work with the BCM on your US cars. You can't just swap PCM's without doing some trickery to re-pair the BCM and the PCM. They are like keyed togeteher.

Cheers,
Hymee.

Well, I sent an email to rotary extreme asking about feed ecu, they said it is only an ecu map. We have to send our ecu to japan and let Feed load their map. Not sure how accurate is my information but that's what I got from rotary extreme.

Yes, its the same here for us. One of our guys intended to send his to R-magic for ECU re-map and the down time is 2 weeks. Unless u got a spare ECU or else rent a ride..:D

Thank you. You're probably right about it. These PCM's are just re-programmed. That's all. If you want partial, or even total control, invest in something more accessible, like the CZ, or the e-manage. I'm not trying to sell these off; I just think it will be less of a burden for your bank account. Plus, it probably wouldn't work on the USDM anyway, like IZoomZoomI said.
