FearsomeFatman sounds Fearsome

YOUZ!

I went ahead and got rid of the rice sounding magnaflow today and decided to weld in these 2 cans of cherry bomb turbo II mufflers, they are straight through, and give me a menacing tone, not loud, but more like a speed bike, my friends say it now sounds like a CBR, which is not bad considering it is not raspy at all, just pops every once in a while...

hope you enjoy my license plate hider...

do not have a video or sound clip yet, as all I have is my phone and we all know how horrid videos from a samsung a-950 are, girls seem to respond nicely to the way it sounds now, it is undescribable, from the magnaflow to this, very different, oh and btw, the whole thing weights 21.6Lbs as per scale of all components before installation... so I may have gained some freedom, butt dyno says it is not faster, but will dyno after new plugs to be sure

I have been getting looks from all kinds of people, the car really sounds exotic now, I'll say that the tone is rather unique, and no it isn't loud like honda ricers

maybe it's just the angle but they look to have a pretty low included angle. How much clearance do they have to the ground?

Other than that, they look nice.

Oh, and you're plate is false. I beat my girl out myself

clearance... well they sit about the same height as the stock box did, you can't see them from behind the car, maybe you see if you lower your head under it, I am using the stock tips so it really is incognito, until you hear it, I must say that it does sound much better than the ricey magnaflow system I had

now I need a girl, I seriously do, I'm an alright looking dude, I'm 6ft tall, 268lbs, some say I look like Don Omar... lol, I'm going nuts talking to myself

With piping that big I hope you have the Sohn OMP adapter to make sure you get enough lubrication.

just so you know. the glasspacks will blow out soon. they can't deal with the heat of the rotary. someone did it on an fd and it only lasted about 45min before it backfired and shot all the fiberglass out of the tailpipe. now i know ours isn't turbo but still backfires alot and gets stoopid hot. good luck the people with the hymee exhaust haven't had problems so you may be ok

just an update to this, mufflers now replaced by a couple magnaflows part + 112236 from pepboys and piping replaced by 2.5in, cat replaced by magnaflow hi flow type

as the car no longer houses a renesis... figured I could do away with a few things I never liked anyway, next is hooking up all this mumbo jumbo wire harness and see if I can make this new 20b engine work with stock speedo and oil and coolant gauges... wish me luck... mean while I am driving a 1998 trans am ws6, mazda has been ****** and decided not to replace my engine in my 8, so instead of buying a new renesis, I opted to spend about the same amount in a 20b 3 rotor, I need to relocate the battery and I am thinking of bringing the boost gauge where the navi was... (I hate that thing anyways)

I was about to scream sacrilege about that part, but then I saw the bit about the 20b.

I tip my hat to you sir. Good luck with everything and keep us posted!
