what do you mean by "worth it"?

hope you don't plan on getting any power out of it or a different sound...

Just changing out the tips on the stock exhaust will not amplify the sound. If you want to change the sound you need to go with a aftermarket exhaust hks, Racing beat, greddy etc..

There was a member who changed out the tips and it came out pretty good. He got them at wal mart in the automotive section...

Do you want larger diameter tips or a complete cat back system? If you want to change the tips, you'll need to purchase pre-made tips somewhere, have the stock tips cut off and the new ones welded in place but it won't do a darn thing for the sound.

If you want a cat back system, expect to pay $500+ but you'll see no increase in power.

I cut off my OE tips and welded on a pair of DNX tips. (Part # 38813) I already had the tips so the welding at a local shop just ran $45. It'll get me by till I can get to changing the whole exhaust.

True, they don't change the sound or performance, but in my opinion, they look better than the OE tips. These are double wall 304 stainless steel in 4" OD round angle cut.

If you're considering changing tips, I highly recommend going with a double wall for heat insulation. (The outer layer of the tip will have less heat discoloration with a double wall)

Here are pics.
