well if you dont mind me getting in this, im looking for an exhaust also and have a clue but theres alot out there. i want an exhaust that well first off sounds good but not to rediculously loud and get me a fix-it ticket and i only want a catback. something that will give me better gains in hp and yeah i no it wont be to much gains but just a trust worthy aftermarket good exhaust. what do ya think

Well I was in the same boat I wanted something at wasn't real loud and that could give me some gains as well. I went with the Trust Power Extreme Ti. the db rating is 93db and its 26lbs lighter than stock.

Racing Beat is the best for that, they've built it to only be loud when you really get on the throttle, cruising and idle you have a sweet quite purrrrrr!!!!
Ive had it for three years and love it check out thier website and the description will pretty much tell you the same thing.....

Just as Rotr8 said Racing Beat is really nice. You can hardly hear it while crusing, but once you open it up it comes alive. Its not to expensive and will give you about the most hp you can get from an exhaust. The only draw back is the weight, its a little heavier than stock

legamax is nice, but in the end you're paying a grand for a 2.5" catback.

Right now I only recommend the turboxs system. $400 from fluid brand new, includes catless midpipe too. Just cut the tips off and install whatever you like and maybe a second resonator if you're NA.

i did look at borla but im not even sure what to look for.. i like how the racing beat is sounding to me.. he said it has low sound when cruising but it sounds louder when you let loose.. i like that... and it gives about the same hp as an aftermarket exhaust.. so i think that sounds like a good choice.. but he also said the only down point is that its heavier then the stock exhaust.

so guys is racing beat a good choice..??
