i dunno. It's so different hearing them on the computer though. I didn't think the racing beat is what I wanted, but after hearing it, it's very smooth.

On the computer I've really liked the hymee clips, but who knows in person.

I'm torn between the tanabe, hymee, and RB. Out of those 3 I've only heard the RB in person, and I really liked it.

The Espelir sounds nice but those tips look a bit on the wide side if you want to go with an aftermarket kit. i.e Melting issues??

Indeed the RB is smooth. Could be a little too muted for me. How does the weight of the RB compare to stock?

then you will love the hymee... and the melting will only happen it the exhaust touches the plastic it goes through....

i had a bit of it with the corksport, but i did not trim enough away...

but you could not see the problem on the plastic or the exhaust..

depends on the kit, my exhaust tips sits pretty close with the ms rear, but there's no melting issues. Scudrunner had a problem with this with his exhaust (greddy, i believe) with his veilside rear, but then changed to mazdaspeed rear w/o issues. So it depends on the quality of the material of your aftermarket rear bumper.

you shouldn't melt stock unless you have a catless midpipe or something and run it very hard. exhaust with aftermarket rear is simply clearance issue. does it stick out far enough to not enduce a lot of heat on the bumper and does it have play room to move around (1" play room to be safe) without hitting the bumper.

Yep, the hymee has the best mix of aggressiveness and depth without being overbearing for my tastes but a $145 more than the RB from Mazdaparts.com.

Anyone know of shops with more competitive pricing??

Thanks
