MD Exhaust question...

Before i get flamed, i DID use the search button and couldnt find my answer.

So i have an 04 rx8 and i want to know what year will fit a stock exhaust besides the year 04? Because my stock exhaust has a leak and has been "fixed" using an Advanced Auto Parts flexible tube... and it sounds nasty and still has the leak. So i have been looking for a stock exhaust but i am not sure what other years will fit my 2004?

04-08 are the same "series" so anything from that range will fit.

Might be in your best interest to get the full 2 piece exhaust and not just the muffler. The stock exhaust has two pieces, the muffler and the catback piping. These two pieces are stamped together at the factory to create a tight seal. If you just replace the muffler portion then you may not get a tight enough seal.

Another option you have is to ask a muffler shop to WELD IN a proper diameter tube. Those little flexi crap things are exactly that. Should cost you under $100. Performs the same
