I am trying to figure out what is the best ECU. looking at getting one soon, but want some feed back.

Best ECU is the Factory's Original ECU

Or , the JDM Mazdaspeed's ECU.

 

The Interceptor or HKS F-Con pro is looking to be your best choices right now. The Interceptor is easily tuned by any competant rotary tuner, whereas an HKS F-Con can only be tuned by an HKS authorized dealer. Both are comprable on price, both a very powerful units. The advantages that the Fcon offers is a finer resolution map, but that's really only useful if you plan to run a lot of boost, and I the ability to chase an AF ratio, which is cool. The interceptor may have the advantage of alot of additional development. Scott, the creator has promised a lot of additional features that are not yet available for the F con, like port control. But we'll have to wait and see if he delivers on them.
