yeah if u dont know much about FI u better learn before anything. but with a budget of 1000 bucks u better do some suspension or ur best bet would b the Cobb AP for 695 then if u decide to go turbo later it's the best engine management out ther for our cars now!

I'm sure others will have an opinion to each kit and those who have these installed can describe their taste so you can decide what is best for you and your pocket...

The RX8 ain't cheap to upgrade nor it is cheap to repair so be wise and oriented before investing without knowing...

I can admit ( I too have a lot to learn about Turbo and SC ) so until I'm not completely oriented and know about the cons and pros, I'll stick with being N/A for now.. jejejee just an advise...
