Dyno'ed on RotoTest today.
Yes today my RX-8 header system was putting to the test against the stock exhaust manifold. Baseline was 196 hp@8500 rpm with stock manifold. Prototype header made better results: 202 hp@8000 rpm! That's a gain of +7 hp at cranc at 500 rpm lower rpm. Now my "Tig Guru" Peter is making a new one of stainless steel with equal length primaries. I hope to see a solid +10 hp of the "new" header when it's finished. If everything goes the way i plan i will sell the header parts to Usa.

Hi guys! I have all the hard data in the RotoTest computer and i am first gonna do the curves with log manifold and header style. Just be patient i will upload here. I have now driven over 200 km with the new header and it feels stronger every time you floor it! Maybe i am gonna do a second prototype header that my old "piston" guru Roger will try to made for me. I keep you updated!

I might be retarded at math, but isn't 202-196 = +6 hp. Not to be nit picky. Those are nice results.I think it's plausible. Other firms have gotten about +3 hp from some standard designs, so +6 hp doesn't sound like a stretch on a custom Renesis unit.

Power!!
I think he is comparing the results at 8000rpm for the stock run. The 196 was at 8500 stock. The 202 was at 8000rpm with the header. If my math is correct that should mean he got 195 at 8000rpm. Yep a dyno sheet would be helpful along with how the data was recorded. Is 202 at the wheels with the tires on or at the crank (assuming that is a calculation) or at the hubs?

you aren't listening, it doesn't make any difference
even my manifold doesn't make any power difference except that it drops a chunk of weight off, a big drop of weight is all you can get out of an exhaust on an unported Renesis
the entire OE exhaust system (manifold, catpipe, catback muffler) weighs 79 lbs, mine ways 26 lbs; a 53 lb drop

initially we found that to be true (as Lasse is reporting), but we discovered later that the OE parts can make the same power. I 'm not at liberty to say why/how yet, but I have seen a bone stock RX-8 put out near GrandAm power levels at the rear wheels
I reported way back when that my goal was to lose weight without losing power, I'm down at 2700 lbs with full interior and the original bodywork, unfortunately I'll have to add a few pounds back because the exhaust won't meet the sound limits imposed at the area I relocated to, some extra pipe and muffler(s), still trying to determine the best course of action, I'll be losing a few lbs too on some other mods so it may be a wash
