CZ unit vs stock ecu

Does the stock ecu overwrites the CZ map after a while?..i searched and couldnt find an answer....also does the pre-loaded map have adjusted timing already?

Depends on how you tune it If you tune in open loop you're OK...if you tune in closed loop areas it will trim them out.

"Stage 2" maps have timing adjustments in the map....

hey, dannobre, i am a noob, so i dont want to mess with the timing, does that unit that i am buying from you have pre-adjusted timing already?

"open" loops where ur just using all the sensors to calculate the A/F ratio..... however in "closed" loop, thats where ur PCM looks at the O2 sensor n will use that to calculate the air fuel ratio......

"open" loop is where the ECU determines how much fuel is added with no feedback from the O2 sensors...."closed" loop is where the O2 sensors "feedback" info to the ECU so it can adjust to a specific A/F ratio
