I just recently bought my 2004 RX8 and was wonding if anyone can reccomend a good cool air intake. Is a cool air intake even worth it? Should I look at other upgrade options?

Depends on where you live, what you expect and your plans for further mods.

The AEM seems to be one of the better ones and will work with all FI applications.

If you are just after the sound, convert your stock air box to a cooler style. Just find the DYI that tells you how.

Another suggestion would be to read the multiple pages that deal with mods to your 8. Use the search feature and you will find that your questions have been asked several times.
