The White Lightin its called.

Apparently it will save 3-5 mpg, Gain Horsepower and Torque with the install.

Has anyone ever tried this or something like this? Any opinions on if it is legit?

If it sounds too good to be true, then it is. The only way you'll get better gas mileage... is if you don't drive the car.

 

Yes, thats true. Right now my RX8 has so far gotten 1 month to the 1/2 tank & I plan on extending that by three or four more months...

my mpg went up from 15/24 to 150/240.

Unbelievable.

Buy 10 of them. Its more than enough to beat a Prius !

 

It increases your MPG by cutting off your engine every 10 seconds of driving.. you coast and save gas.

Many RX8 owners, including me, have this device and it WORKS! I thought everyone knew about this amazing product.

 

Well, nothing will really give you better mileage other than learning to be a little liberal with the go-pedal.

And generally when you get more horsepower, the more gas you burn. And with the 8, the only real cheap horsepower is nitrous. Other than that, if you're looking for more horsepower, but don't want to spend a lot of money... then you're not going to get very far.

Don't rev the car so much, and you save gas. Then again, the whole joy of driving an 8 is revving the engine all the way to 9000rpm.

 

Just dont drive. Thats the ultimate way to save gas.

Take Public transportation.

Or if you really have to drive, get something small, find the car with the smallest engine you can find. Sorry but its true, the only way to get high MPG is thru smaller engines.

Yes we have what we can call a *1.3L* engine. but remember, our engine is NOT a piston base engine, when you compare our engine to a piston, its more like we have a 2.6 than a 1.3.

and when you compare our mpg to a 2.6 piston engine, we're about the same.
