compressor surge
i recently heard a rx8 on youtube with a compressor surge ...WHAT IS IT ? it sounds cool ....can i put one on my stock engine ? 0.o

Yep you sure can. Here are the instructions:
1. Buy a turbo kit and fit it. Make sure you dont waste your money on a Blow Off Valve
2. Go and get a really good tune,
3. Go for a drive and give the car a good hard thrash,
4. Wait for the turbo to die,
5. Go buy a new turbo,
6. Avoid the forums for fear of ridicule.
Seriously, there are 2 sounds I think you could be talking about, the first is a Blow of Valve venting to atmosphere, its a whooshing noise when you come of the accelerator (Go read up what a BOV is for). The other is a "do do do do" noise (cant think of a better way to put it). This is where the BOV is either not present or not operational. It causes the turbo to go from spining 40,000rpm in direction to spining the other direction very quickly. Its a sure fire way to destroy the unit.

i have 200sx s13,
its really bad making sound like that? what can i do to quit that sound..?
