Dude. Honestly, I think you'd lose HP with that. Remember that the 8 is already pretty efficient out-of-the-box. Not many intakes will do the Renesis justice. As a general rule, don't buy any performance parts from ebay.

I'd run...and get a replacement filter instead with that money. You get what you pay for.

Do a search, you can built a better system with not much more money.

a DIY intake would give you more powa

Unless you've got an air vacuum and a dyno, I'd seriously advise against making your own mods. You can do that with some Hondas but not the 8. The 8's pretty tempermental when it comes to mods. If you don't know EXACTLY what you are doing...you could do more damage than good. You'd never notice any difference with an intake, alone, without a dyno anyways. With highly engineered intakes (i.e. RB) you'd get 3 ponies. So, homemade intakes are not only a "no-no" when it comes to looks but also when it comes to acutal performance.
